Product details
Product Introduction
I. Product Overview and Core Positioning
The XL-21 charging pile power distribution cabinet is a low-voltage complete set of equipment deeply customized based on the XL-21 standard cabinet. Its core innovation lies in the integration of an electrical fire-proof current-limiting protector, which solves industry pain points such as delayed short-circuit response of charging pile circuits and arc fire risks. It fully complies with the mandatory protection requirements for terminal circuits in charging places specified in GB 51348-2019 *Electrical Design Standard for Civil Buildings*.
Core Values:
- Safety and Explosion Protection: The current-limiting protector cuts off short-circuit current at a microsecond-level speed (≤150μs), suppresses arc sparks, and reduces the risk of electrical fires by more than 90%;
- Efficient Operation and Maintenance: Supports live replacement of switches in branch circuits, reducing the downtime of charging stations;
- Flexible Adaptation: Covers the power requirements of 7kW~120kW AC/DC charging piles, compatible with multiple scenarios such as residential areas, commercial areas, and public fast-charging stations.
II. Structural Design and Core Technologies
1. Enhanced Design of XL-21 Cabinet
Cabinet Structure:
Made of 1.5~3.0mm cold-rolled steel plates (304 stainless steel optional) through welding, with a surface treated by phosphating + electrostatic spraying, achieving a corrosion resistance grade of C4, suitable for high-humidity environments such as underground garages;
Protection grade meets IP30 standard (IP65 outdoor rainproof type optional), with a waterproof top cover and lifting rings installed on the cabinet top.

Leakage monitoring: Adjustable residual current from 30mA to 500mA (optional);
Temperature control: Cable temperature sensor alarms when the temperature is ≥85℃;
Voltage tolerance: Automatic power-off in case of overvoltage (≥470V) and undervoltage (≤270V).
Intelligent Operation and Maintenance**
Fault recording: Records 20 events (including short-circuit current peak and action time);
Acousto-optic alarm: Dual warnings from a local buzzer and cabinet door indicator light;
Remote control: Remote reset or parameter setting via APP/SCADA.

VI. Installation and Operation & Maintenance Specifications
1. Installation Points:
- The cabinet shall be installed vertically against the wall (inclination ≤5°), with foundation bolts ≥M12;
- The current-limiting protector shall be placed on the lower side of the incoming line switch, and the wiring torque shall be calibrated in accordance with IEC 61439;
2. Maintenance Cycle:
- Monthly: Dust cleaning (blowing the heat dissipation holes with compressed air);
- Annual: Calibrating the action time and capacitance value of the current-limiting protector (replace if the capacitance attenuation exceeds 10%);
3. Fault Emergency Handling:
- Frequent alarms → Detect harmonic content (add a reactor when THDi > 8%);
- Overheating of the protector → Check ventilation or use with derated capacity.
Summary: A New Benchmark for Charging Pile Power Distribution Safety
The XL-21 integrated current-limiting protector solution, through three innovations of "rapid arc interruption + intelligent early warning + precise power matching", directly addresses the core pain points of charging pile power distribution:
- Leap in safety: 150μs short-circuit response speed, eliminating the arc ignition risk of traditional protection devices;
- 40% reduction in whole-life cycle cost: Reducing fault downtime + eliminating the need for fuse replacement;
- Compliance guarantee: Meeting the mandatory requirements of GB 51348-2019 for charging terminal circuits.
Engineering Recommendations: For high-humidity places (such as underground garages), stainless steel IP65 cabinets are preferred; fast-charging piles above 60kW shall be equipped with three-phase 250A current-limiting protectors + temperature monitoring modules.
